What We Offer

Two Tools, One Goal: A Natural, Refreshed Look

Botox and dermal fillers solve different problems, and knowing which one — or both — fits your goals is the first step. Botox relaxes the small muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, the lines that show up when you frown, squint, or raise your eyebrows. Dermal fillers add volume back to areas that have thinned or hollowed with age, like cheeks, lips, and the lines running from nose to mouth.

At Abbott, every injectable treatment starts with an in-depth consultation, not a price list. Because our med spa runs alongside a physician-led practice, your treatment plan is built around your full health picture, not just the area you want treated.

Most patients see natural results that don't look “done” — because the goal is refreshed, not frozen or overfilled.

Which One Is Right For You

Botox vs. Dermal Fillers

They're often used together in the same visit — but they work in very different ways.

Neuromodulator

Botox

Botox (and similar neuromodulators) temporarily relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles — the ones that form from repeated expression, like frowning or squinting.

  • Softens forehead & frown lines
  • Reduces crow's feet
  • Can subtly lift a dropping brow
  • Results in 3–7 days, lasting 3–4 months
  • No downtime — back to normal activity same day
Volumizer

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid gel to restore volume that's been lost, or add definition to features like lips and cheeks.

  • Restores volume to cheeks & temples
  • Softens nasolabial folds & marionette lines
  • Adds definition to lips
  • Enhances jawline & chin contour
  • Results are immediate, lasting 6–18 months

02

Customized Injection Plan

Your provider maps out exactly which areas, and which product, will get you the most natural-looking result.

03

Treatment Day

Injections take 15–30 minutes for most plans, with topical numbing available for comfort.

04

Follow-Up

We check in on your healing and make sure your results are settling the way we planned.

Why It Matters

Why Injectables at a Physician-Led Practice

Botox and filler are minimally invasive, but they're still medical procedures. Injected in the wrong place, at the wrong depth, or in the wrong amount, results can look unnatural — or in rare cases, cause complications that need medical management.

Because Abbott is a physician-led practice, your injectable treatment is documented in the same chart as the rest of your care, and any medical questions go straight to a provider who already knows your history.

Physician Insight

"Injectables are simple in concept but they're still a medical procedure. I want our patients treated by people who understand facial anatomy and know when not to treat, not just how to inject."

Common Questions

Injectables FAQ

What patients ask most before their first appointment.

Botox typically lasts 3 to 4 months before muscle movement gradually returns. Most patients settle into a maintenance schedule of 3–4 treatments per year.
Depending on the product and treatment area, dermal fillers last anywhere from 6 months (lips) to 18 months (cheeks). Denser areas with less movement tend to last longer.
Most patients describe the discomfort as minimal, a quick pinch. Topical numbing cream is available, and the fillers used at Abbott include a built-in numbing agent.
Little to none for most patients. Some redness, swelling, or minor bruising at injection sites can occur and typically resolves within a few days.
Yes — many patients combine both in a single appointment. Your provider will build a plan based on which areas need muscle relaxation versus volume.
Abbott Health & Wellness in Salina offers Botox and dermal fillers for patients across Sevier County, including Richfield, Manti, Gunnison, and surrounding communities.
