Restylane is another well-established hyaluronic acid filler family, built on a different gel technology than Juvederm. For some areas and some patients, it's the better fit.
Restylane uses a different hyaluronic acid gel manufacturing process than Juvederm, which tends to produce a slightly firmer, more cohesive gel. In practice, that can make it a strong option for precise structural work — think lip border definition, under-eye hollows, or fine lines — where control matters as much as volume.
Like other hyaluronic acid fillers, Restylane is reversible with an enzyme if needed, which keeps the risk profile relatively low compared to permanent filler options.
We don't default to one filler brand for every patient. Restylane's gel characteristics make it a particularly good fit for certain areas, like under-eye hollows or precise lip border work — we'll talk through whether it or Juvederm makes more sense for your specific goals.

Explore Jawline Filler"Patients often ask which filler is 'better' — Juvederm or Restylane. Neither is universally better. They behave differently in tissue, and the right choice depends on the area and the result you're after."
