Juvederm — Smooth, Natural Volume Where You Need It.

Juvederm is one of the most established hyaluronic acid filler families available, with different formulas built for different jobs — cheeks, lips, smile lines, and more. Here's how we use it.

How It Works

A Filler Family, Not a Single Product

Juvederm isn't one filler — it's a line of hyaluronic acid gel formulas, each engineered with a different thickness and texture for a specific job. Some are built for deeper volumizing in the cheeks, others for softer areas like the lips or under-eye hollows, and others for smoothing moderate to severe lines like nasolabial folds. Choosing the right formula for the right area is most of what makes a result look natural.

Because it's hyaluronic acid — a substance your body already produces — results are reversible with an enzyme if you're ever unhappy with them, which makes it a relatively low-risk way to restore volume or soften lines.

What to expect

A consultation to assess which Juvederm formula fits your goals and anatomy
Topical numbing before injection
Treatment typically takes 20–40 minutes depending on areas treated
Mild swelling or bruising for a few days is normal
Results visible immediately, with final settling over about 2 weeks
Results typically last 6–18 months depending on the formula and area treated
How We Approach It

Matched to the Area, Not One-Size-Fits-All

We select the specific Juvederm formula based on where we're treating and what you're trying to achieve — a thicker gel for cheek volumizing looks and behaves differently than a softer one for lips. That decision happens in a real consultation, not off a generic price list.

Physician Insight

"The Juvederm line gives us options — a thicker gel where we need structure, a softer one where we need subtlety. Matching the right formula to the right area is what separates a natural result from an obviously 'done' one."

What patients ask most before their first appointment.

Both are hyaluronic acid filler families, but they use different gel manufacturing technologies that affect texture, spread, and how they integrate with tissue. Some patients and areas respond better to one versus the other — we'll recommend based on your anatomy and goals, not brand loyalty.
Typically 6 to 18 months depending on the specific formula used and the area treated. Denser, deeper-placed formulas used for cheek volumizing tend to last longer than softer formulas used for lips.
Yes. Like other hyaluronic acid fillers, Juvederm can be dissolved with an enzyme (hyaluronidase) if you're unhappy with the result, which makes it a relatively low-risk option.
