Payson was originally named Peteetneet after the Ute chief who lived along its creek, and its 1901 Peteetneet Academy still stands as one of Utah's earliest schools outside Salt Lake City. Abbott Health & Wellness is about 80 minutes south via US-6 and US-50.
Payson has grown into a real Utah County city of over 21,000, with its own LDS temple and a historic Main Street anchored by the Peteetneet Museum. Utah County has no shortage of urgent care and primary care clinics, but physician-led functional medicine paired with a full-service med spa is harder to find.
Because Payson sits close to Salem, Spanish Fork, and Nephi, many patients from this part of Utah County end up making Abbott their regular functional medicine and med spa provider, coordinating visits to make the drive count.
From Payson, take US-6 south to US-50 toward Salina — about 80 minutes. We're at 45 North State Street, right off Main Street with easy parking directly outside.
First visits start with a real conversation — your history, your goals, and a plan built around both.
Book Your First Visit"Payson patients often come in after being frustrated by 15-minute visits that never quite got to the bottom of things. The extra drive time buys real time with a physician, and most say it's worth it."
We also regularly see patients from Salem, Spanish Fork, and Nephi in southern Utah County. See our full Service Areas map for the complete list of communities we serve.
